Mayor of Corozal Hilberto Campos attends Israel International Mayors Conference in Jerusalem

The 28th Annual Israel International Mayors Conference was held in Jerusalem on May 6 – 10, 2012. The conference was hosted by Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat and was attended by 37 mayors from all over the world, including Hilberto Campos, Mayor of Corozal Town in Belize.

During the conference, the mayors toured Jerusalem’s Old City and met with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. The mayors visited other cities in Israel including Tel Aviv and Haifa and met with Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai and Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav, and with officials from the Israel Defense Force and representatives from leading companies in the Israeli high-tech industry.
