Patrick Faber Replaces Gasper Vega as Deputy Prime Minister

Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Hon. Patrick Faber was sworn on June 7, 2016 as the Deputy Prime Minister at the Belize House in Belmopan, Cayo District. The swearing in was presided over by Belize’s Governor General, His Excellency Sir Colville Young. Faber replaces Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, Environment and Sustainable Development Hon. Gasper Vega as Deputy Prime Minister of Belize.
